Maybe you’ve noticed, maybe not… but it’s been SUPER quiet all over my social media accounts. The truth is, we’ve been busy prepping ourselves for something super exciting and scary,  but never-the-less, a HUGE adventure.

This week, Kyle and I will celebrate a whopping TEN years together. I cannot even believe it. Sometimes I think that ten years is a LONG freakin’ time, and sometimes I think WOW that went fast.

I can even remember the moment he awkwardly asked me to be his girlfriend my sophomore year of high school. I hope that I never forget that!

We’ve been through pretty much everything together. In no particular order; we’ve lived apart, moved in together (and moved apart again), graduated high school, suffered a LOT of loss, graduated college, got married, got jobs, type 1 diabetes diagnosis, bought a house, welcomed new life with our families, and have raised some pretty amazing dog babies, and FINALLY. . . This summer (July 21st to be exact), our sweet first baby is due to arrive!

We are sooo stinkin’ thrilled to finally say, that our Minnesota “Babe” is on the way!

We could not be any more thrilled, and are overwhelmed by all of the love and outreach from family and friends. Our journey to now has been tough. Struggling with gaining better control over my body after being thrown the curveball that is Type 1 diabetes,  the All Day Sickness (better known as ‘Morning Sickness’) for longer than the average pregnancy (a story for a different day <– but I PROMISE this is something I will share), and of course the constant ups and few downs that come along with our life changing plans!

We met with the wonderfully, talented, Olivia from LIV Photography to celebrate the occasion earlier in January. Check out these wonderful images.
